We got going early (for us) so we could try to beat the crowds at the Trolly. After we checked out of the campground, we thought we might be able to leave the camper in front of out friends house. That way we could just worry about finding parking for the van near the trolley.

Down the road from Santa Barbara we found some fresh apricots in Isla Vista. The kids had fun picking and eating them.
We got sunburned at Santa Clause Beach. With the sun and warm weather, kids had fun splashing in the surf and playing in the sand.
Santa Barbara was a blast. We hung out with family and got to see some fun spots in Santa Barbara. We found a few turtles hanging out in a fountain. Everyone got to pet a turtle.
We spent most of a day at the San Diego Zoo. The kids had a blast, for the most part, seeing all of the animals we do not get to see in Alaska. We got to see quite a few different animals, the most popular were the giraffes and elephants. The monkeys are always fun
Las Vegas was HOT HOT HOT! At one point it cooled down to 89-degrees. That was the lowest it got while we were there. We all had fun visit with Papa Morris. We also were able to visit with some family in Las Vegas and go swimming with them. On to San Diego!
