After staying the night in Ouray, we decided to take it easy and stay one more night before stopping at Four Corners so we didn’t have to drive too late at night.
We stayed at a campground just outside Mesa Verde National Park. When we got there, we were not sure if we would go to Mesa Verde to see the ruins or just keep heading toward four corners.
After looking at a few videos of the Mesa Verde ruins tours, we decided it would probably be too much for the littler kids.
We made it to this campground early enough, the kids had a ton of fun playing on the playground and just generally not being cooped up in the van!
We stayed the night and got all packed up in the morning to head over to Four Corners.
